Pay rent from your phone: Venmo or Cash App

We use Venmo and Cash App as these are the easiest methods for submitting rent payments. If neither option works for you, we can discuss alternative payment methods.

Select a utility payment plan that works best for you

We offer two pricing options for utility payment:

Utility Payment Options:

  • Tenant-Managed: The tenant will pay for and manage all utilities.

  • 4C-Managed: 4C Properties will pay for and manage all utilities and 4C Properties will charge an additional service fee.

​​It's up to you to decide which option is better for your group. If you would like to put utilities in your name, please follow the directions below:

How to Set Up Utilities

  • Step #1: Call the utility provider (NSYEG) and see if the power and gas are still on. If so, tell them to keep the power and gas on and to transfer the account into your name. Transferring the account is easier than having them turn everything on again at a later date.

  • Step #2: Set up a new account if you do not already have one with the utility provider (NYSEG) and set up regular payments.

  • Step #3: If the utilities are shut off, schedule an appointment to get a technician to the home to turn on the power and gas. Check as soon as possible (before moving in, at the very start of the lease), as it may take a few days before a technician can stop by the house to turn everything on. 

Garbage, Recycling & Sanitation

All Westside residents north of the Susquehanna River and west of Chestnut Street to Main Street, and south of Leroy Street, from Chestnut Street to Front Street, excluding those sections of Chestnut and Leroy Street, will have garbage collection on Thursdays. (If a holiday falls on Thursday or Friday, your collection will be Wednesday.)

IMPORTANT NOTE:  All refuse must be collected and stored in city-issued BLUE garbage bags and all recycling must be placed in city-issued YELLOW bins.

Please contact the following recommended companies to submit your utility payments. 4C Properties does not receive or process utility payments from their tenants.

We provide hassle-free maintenance and repairs

Your home will be move-in ready before your arrival. If you feel our team missed something during our inspections, please put in a maintenance request below; we're also available via email and telephone 24/7. If you have an emergency, please contact us as soon as possible; we have a local network that can help. Lower priority requests (e.g. loose doorknobs, squeaky hinges) will be tackled during normal business hours. Our team will coordinate a time with you or your housemates to make sure we stop by during a convenient time.
